Crediar, un utente Nintendo possessore di Wii, rilascia a tale indirizzo http://www.tehskeen.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8308, HackInstaller,  un software homebrew che permette di far girare giochi Gamecube e Wii sia PAL sia NTSC e NTSC-J rendendo region free la nostra console pure per i channel.Questo software inoltre permette di togliere la musica di sottofondo del menù Wii e degli avvertimenti riguardo l' uso della console e la nostra salute.Ecco un video:
