Eccolo, come si sospettava era la verità. Uscirà l'1 Novembre in Giappone e costerà 18900 yen (circa 180 dollari), avrà sempre 1 touch screen (sotto) i quali saranno anche più larghi di quelli presenti nella versione precedente. La retrocompatibilità la salutiamo, è sparito lo slot per le cartucce del GBA (la console è quindi un pò più piccina), ne è comparso uno per le schede SD e sono comparse anche 2 (scadenti) fotocamere, come nei cellulari più moderni. La consolina Nintendo sarà più multimediale, sulla falsariga di PSP, integrerà un lettore mp3 e un software per il fotoritocco, inoltre la memoria potrà essere utilizzata per salvare giochi e probabili demo (speriamo). I colori saranno i soliti di base, bianco e nero.
